Kestrel and Raven are sisters as much as the god's can be sisters. Both are frighteningly skilled combatants, but while Raven has a mind toward competition for betterment, Kestrel loves the desperate fight for life where someone in the contest dies. She feels there's no purer form of living.

Her domains in the world of Boden include combat, killing, and martial expertise. When she visits Boden, she does so in the form of whatever creature she wishes, and usually seeks some skilled person to fight in hopes of finding ecstasy in combat.

Orcs that have given in to their own stereotype, most goblinoids, and anyone that loves the feeling of power over another by killing them in combat... some soldiers... sometimes just sociopaths... all follow Kestrel.

To show mercy is the biggest offense one can show to Kestrel, unless the foe wasn't worth your time. If your opponent was weak, there's no joy in the killing. But if your opponent was strong enough to be a risk to you... taking their life is joy.
